SF announces dental awareness campaign for students

LAHORE: Sarwar Foundation (SF) has announced a dental awareness campaign for children in educational institutions across the province.

During the drive, toothbrushes and pastes will also be distributed among the children free of cost. Chairperson of Sarwar Foundation Begum Perveen Sarwar and Head of Dental Consultant Dr. Waheed-ul-Rehman have also signed an agreement regarding this awareness campaign while Director Sarwar Foundation Fariha, Dr. Kiran, Dr. Hina, and others were also present.

Speaking to media persons after the signing ceremony here on Saturday, Sarwar Foundation Chairperson Begum Perveen Sarwar said that protecting children from dental disease is our priority for which we thank Dr. Waheed-ul-Rehman who has decided to give us full support in this regard, and surely when Sarwar Foundation and Dental Consultant work together, we will definitely succeed in our mission. Chairperson Begum Perveen Sarwar further said that under this agreement we are launching awareness campaigns on dental safety and prevention of dental diseases in government and private educational institutions across Punjab including Lahore. During this campaign, eminent doctors will also be with our teams.

In the first phase, our target is to take our awareness campaign to at least 1 lakhs children for which more than 30 teams will visit different educational institutions simultaneously. In response to a question, Perveen Sarwar said that the Sarwar Foundation would also provide all the resources for the free treatment of deserving children who cannot get treatment for dental diseases. Dr. Waheed-ul-Rehman said that we have already worked together with Sarwar Foundation and we are still trying to make the campaign that we are launching as successful as possible.
