In a resolute stance against terrorism, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pledged to deliver a decisive blow to terrorist groups, ensuring they never target Pakistan again. During a pivotal meeting on the law and order situation, he stressed the ongoing struggle to eradicate terrorism completely from the nation.

The Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan’s adversaries are intimidated by the country’s economic progress. He praised the security forces’ officers and soldiers, who confront terrorists relentlessly, often sacrificing their lives for national security. Sharif assured full federal support to enhance provincial capacities for eliminating terrorism and extremism, noting the collaborative efforts on a unified anti-terrorism narrative.

He urged all parties to set aside differences and unite in combating this threat. Additionally, the Prime Minister instructed a crackdown on smuggling and human trafficking, emphasizing the importance of swift completion of Safe City projects in major urban areas.

The meeting revealed the establishment of a National and Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center at NACTA, alongside the development of a forensic science agency in Islamabad and improvements to the existing facility in Punjab.
