SIBI: District Administration Sibbi on Saturday started adopting measures to control the outbreak of Cholera in Mul Chandia, Mul Chachar, Raza Machi and its adjoining areas in the wake of recent downpours.
Commissioner Sibbi Division, Balach Aziz and Deputy Commissioner Mansoor Qazi visited Mul Chandia, Mul Chachar, Raza Machi areas to review situation.
Directions to the concerned authorities were issued to ensure providing pure drinking water to the dwellers of those areas. A total of 3000 litres of mineral water was distributed amongst the residents of these areas besides providing pure drinking water through tankers by the staff of district administration Sibi under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sibbi, Sana Majabeen Umrani.
Authorities of Public Health Engineering Department were also directed to get the filter plant of Mul Chandia repaired immediately.
