A simple ceremony was held on Monday on the retirement of Ramzan Chaudhry, an employee of the Mirpurkhas Municipal Corporation Taxation Department, which was attended by Deputy Mayor Samira Baloch MC and other officers, including UC chairmen.
Addressing the ceremony, Mayor Abdul Rauf Ghauri said that such employees are an asset to the institution, and it is because of them that institutions show better performance. New employees should learn from such employees. Mayor Abdul Rauf Ghauri said that there are issues with the gratuity of the corporation’s employees, which will be resolved soon, and the Local Government has been written to in this regard.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Ghauri said that sincere officials are “an asset to the institution,” and it is because of them that institutions perform better. He urged new employees to learn from the dedication of individuals like Mr. Chaudhry.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor Samira Baloch, MC, other municipal officers, and various UC chairmen. In her remarks, Deputy Mayor Baloch paid tribute to the retiring worker and expressed gratitude for his services. Other officials also praised Mr. Chaudhry’s commendable performance during his tenure.
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Union officials Mazhar Abbasi, Rana Rashid, Abid Suhrawardy, and other employees were also present.
