Sindh cabinet gives final approval to high-level judicial appointments in key tribunals

The Sindh Cabinet has finalized the ex-cadre appointments of two senior district and sessions judges to key tribunal positions, a government spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday. Under the decision, Naushad Ali Mughal has been appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Anti-Encroachment Tribunal, Hyderabad, and Rehmatullah Morio as the Judicial Member of the Appellate Tribunal of the Sindh Revenue Board.

The provincial government’s move comes after prior approval of the summary for the appointments by the Chief Minister of Sindh.

Under the new responsibilities, Naushad Ali Mughal will head the Anti-Encroachment Tribunal for the Hyderabad region.

Meanwhile, Rehmatullah Morio will assume his duties as the Judicial Member in the appellate body of the Sindh Revenue Board.

Spokesperson for the Sindh Chief Minister, Abdul Rasheed Channa, stated that the cabinet finalized the notification of the appointments by exercising its delegated powers.
