Sindh Governor, Iranian Ambassador Discuss Regional Stability

The pressing need for regional peace and stability was the central topic of discussion in a high-level meeting today between Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori and Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam.

Upon arrival at the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad, he was warmly welcomed by Ambassador Moghadam and the diplomatic staff. Later, the Iranian Ambassador hosted a luncheon in honor of the distinguished guest and his family.

During the meeting, the officials held a detailed exchange of views on matters concerning Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations and enhancing mutual cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Tessori mentioned the enduring relationship between Pakistan and Iran, stating that these decades-old ties are gradually becoming stronger and more stable over time. He emphasized the deep historical, religious, and cultural bonds that unite the two nations.

The Governor also appreciated Ambassador Moghadam’s role in further promoting the bilateral partnership, describing his role in the development of relations as “positive and effective.”
