Sindh Governor visits Dawa-e-Islami’s Faizan Madina center

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori visited Faizan Madina Center of Dawa-e-Islami and inspected its various departments. On the occasion, the in charge Majlis Shura Haji Imran Attari, members Amin Attari, Athar Ali Attari, Abdul Habib Attari, members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee Abdul Haseeb Khan and Zahid Mansoori and other scholars were also present.

The Governor Sindh said that he is here as a true follower of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). “I am happy that the assistance to the destitute people is provided here. In Faizan-i-Madina, the provision of religious as well as modern studies to the students is also a welcome step,” he said. The governor further said that Dawat-e-Islami is working in a very organized manner.

Talking to the media afterwards, he said that for the implementation of compulsory Quran education to students, he had written to Chief Minister Sindh. A letter was also written to him to include the acknowledgment of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa’s (PBUH) seal as last prophet in the marriage certificate. For which the Chief Minister of Sindh had instructed the law department, he added.

Replying to the question of meeting former President Asif Ali Zardari, the Governor Sindh said that he was trying to achieve unity and consensus among political and religious leaders. “I hope that all political and religious leaders will make joint efforts to serve the nation,” he opined.
