Sindh governor

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today extended greetings to the Pakistani nation and the global community on the arrival of the New Year.

In a statement issued from the Sindh Governor House, he emphasized the need to harness our capabilities to set Pakistan on the path of progress. “I pray that the New Year proves to be a blessing for Pakistan and the world,” he said.

The governor lauded the extraordinary efforts of hardworking farmers, laborers, businesspeople, and soldiers defending the nation, as well as individuals from various sectors, for their exceptional contributions in 2024.

Mr Tessori said: “In 2024, the nation faced every challenge with resilience, sacrifice, patriotism, and unity. Challenges will remain a common aspect of the road ahead. At present, some people are grappling with employment and life difficulties. Together, we must overcome these challenges by helping one another.”

He added, “In 2024, we continued to move forward with tireless efforts, met every trial head-on, and achieved remarkable successes. While remembering this challenging year, we remain optimistic for the future.”

Highlighting a significant humanitarian crisis, he said, “One of the gravest crises facing humanity today is the massacre of innocent people in Gaza at the hands of the occupying Zionist regime. I hope that in 2025, global leaders’ collective efforts against the massacre in Gaza and for global peace will achieve success.”

“May 2025 bring peace, stability, development, and prosperity to Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah. May Allah ease the hardships of Muslims suffering across the globe. I pray that the darkness of oppression and tyranny over the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine comes to an end,” Tessori concluded.
