Sindh Ministers Deployed at Public Complaints Cell, Providing Citizens Direct Access

In a significant move to improve public service delivery, the Sindh government has deployed its cabinet ministers, special assistants, advisors, and spokespersons to personally man the Chief Minister’s public complaints cell, to provide residents with direct access to high-level officials.

The initiative is part of an effort to make the Chief Minister Sindh Public Complaint Cell (919) more active, aimed at promptly addressing public grievances. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said, “The immediate resolution of public issues is our top priority,” adding that “direct access is being given to the citizens of Sindh.”

According to the Chief Minister’s spokesperson, a circular for the daily schedule of officials from April 1 to June 4, 2026, has been issued. “High-level officials will be present daily at the Chief Minister House to hear complaints,” the spokesperson confirmed today.

The public will be able to state their problems at the complaint cell daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The Chief Minister’s spokesperson explained that the purpose of including ministers in the cell is to make problem-solving “faster and more effective.” The Chief Minister has directed that timely action be ensured on every complaint and affirmed that “all resources are being used for public relief.”

The duty roster will begin on Wednesday, April 1, with Spokesperson Ghanwer Ali Isran and Special Assistant Muhammad Ali Rashid hearing public complaints.

On Thursday, April 2, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab and Special Assistant Sarfaraz Rajar will be on duty, followed by Sindh Government Spokesperson Barrister Arsalan Islam Shaikh and Special Assistant Syed Qasim Shah on Friday, April 3.

According to the schedule, on Monday, April 6, Spokesperson Sarmad Palejo and Special Assistant Rajveer Singh; on Tuesday, April 7, Spokesperson Waheed Halepoto and Special Assistant Mansoor Shahani; and on Wednesday, April 8, Spokesperson Makhdoom Fakhar Zaman and Special Assistant Usman Hingoro will be on duty.

On Thursday, April 9, Spokesperson Sadia Javed and Special Assistant Abdul Jabbar Khan, and on Friday, April 10, Spokesperson Nadir Nabeel Gabol and Special Assistant Junaid Buland will hear public complaints.

Ministers deployed at the complaints cell include Sharjeel Inam Memon, Dr. Azra Pechuho, Nasir Hussain Shah, Syed Sardar Shah, Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, Muhammad Bux Mahar, Ali Hassan Zardari, Zulfiqar Shah, Ikramullah Dharejo, Muhammad Ali Malkani, Makhdoom Mahboob Zaman, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Riaz Shah Shirazi, Shahina Sher Ali, Tariq Ali Talpur, and Muhammad Ismail Rahoo.

The team of special assistants includes Muhammad Saleem Baloch, Dr. Sham Sundar, Syed Afzal Shah, Liaquat Ali Askrani, Tanzila Umme Habiba, Raza Haroon, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Amanullah Mehsud, Kulsoom Chandio, Muhammad Ali Bhutto, Hussain Aslam Bhatti, Veerji Kolhi, Faraz Abid Lakho, Tariq Hassan, Atta Muhammad Panhwar, Dost Muhammad Rahmoon, Babul Khan Bheyo, and Najmi Alam, along with Advisor to CM Sindh Ehsan Mazari.

Government spokespersons included in the roster are Buland Khan Junejo, Sukhdev Hemnani, Samita Afzal, Syeda Tehsin Abidi, Heer Soho, Aqriba Fatima, and Mustafa Abdullah Baloch.
