The head of a prominent industrial association today lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for Pakistan”s diplomatic role in securing a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, describing the intervention as a ‘defining moment’ for the country.
In a formal statement, Abdul Rehman Fudda, president of the SITE Association of Industry (SAI) Karachi, commended the nation’s leadership for displaying “extraordinary wisdom, foresight and diplomatic acumen” at an exceptionally sensitive time in global affairs.
According to the SAI chief, this “historic achievement” has directly spared millions of human lives from the “horrors of war” and has prepared the ground for lasting regional peace.
He further stated that Pakistan had once again demonstrated to the international community that it is not only a responsible nuclear state but also a country fully capable of playing a constructive and meaningful part in the pursuit of global harmony.
Fudda remarked that the diplomatic victory would be remembered as a “luminous chapter” in Pakistan”s national history, which future generations would look back upon with pride.
“This achievement has simultaneously elevated Pakistan”s dignity and credibility within the international community. The entire nation stands tall today,” he added.
