LARKANA: Central Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), Babu Sarwar Siyal, in a press conference held at Larkana Press Club Friday said that political differences have arisen between the Chaudhry brothers by those who have been playing the game of some conspiratorial elements like cobra snakes in PML-Q for the past six months.
He said that the Q-League meeting that was held yesterday in Lahore and similar meeting was also held on 28th July, 2022 under the chairmanship of Senator Kamil Ali Agha, the General Secretary of the Punjab province, who expelled the party president from the party, in which some leaders of Punjab called it a fake meeting but our party has a constitution and discipline and after every four years intra-party elections are held and Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain is the head of our party till 2024.
He said: “I salute the patience and vision of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain who has been so patient. Agha cannot even be elected as councillor and has no locus standi in the party but Shujat made him a senator and now he is opposing him.”
He said: “Old leaders and workers of the party, including myself now wholeheartedly believe Chaudhary Shujaat to be the president.” He said that in yesterday’s meeting, Wajahat Hussain was made the central president of the party, Kamil Ali Agha was made the central general secretary and Pervaiz Elahi was made the president of Q-League Punjab, who were elected illegally and unconstitutionally. He said that if they are fond of hijacking the party they should call the general council meeting of the party and give a date where it will be known who has the majority.
Babu Siyal also requested the central president of the party Chaudhary Shujaat to call the general council meeting of the party soon. He simultaneously said that he had no disagreement with Chaudhry Parvez Elahi or Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, but the disagreement was with those Cobra snakes, hence, he added there should be a meeting of the General Council and the Central Working Committee of PML-Q which should be participated by Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir office bearers wherein it will be clear who will head the party, Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain or another.
