The US dollar showed slight changes in both the open and interbank markets. In the open market, the dollar was bought at 278.70 rupees and sold at 279.57 rupees. Meanwhile, the interbank market recorded a buying rate of 278.27 rupees, while the selling rate was 278.47 rupees.
The euro also showed similar slight fluctuations, with a buying rate of 323.37 rupees and a selling rate of 326.49 rupees. The British pound was traded for buying at 374.25 rupees and for selling at 377.52 rupees.
Interestingly, the Japanese yen remained stable, with a buying rate of 1.73 rupees and a selling rate of 1.79 rupees, indicating a lack of market pressure on this currency.
The UAE dirham was observed with a buying rate of 75.95 rupees and a selling rate of 76.60 rupees. The Saudi riyal recorded a buying rate of 74.26 rupees and a selling rate of 74.87 rupees, showing slight fluctuations in line with market trends.
Market insiders attribute these minor exchange rate changes to the ongoing interaction of global financial patterns and local supply and demand factors, which continue to influence currency values.
