LARKANA: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Muhammad Imran Khan said in a press conference at Larkana Press Club on Saturday that Larkana district is an important district of the country, because of which people’s hopes are high in the police to maintain the law and order situation and solve the peoples problems.
He accepted that the law and order situation has not been better for a few weeks, but we are improving it and for this the district police has got the full support of the provincial government and the IG Police Sindh is also helping to restore the peace in the entire district very soon.
He said that the work of the police is to control crime, for that they have collected the details of active criminals and started operations against them, their supporters and facilitators and I myself am supervising these matters including the posting of police personnel, as well as the actions and operation of teams have also been constituted. He said that we will bring the active criminals to justice. In response to a question, the SSP said that after the franchise incident, the details have been gathered and the criminals involved will be arrested very soon and there was also a robbery incident from a businessman today.
He said a team of CIA and experienced police officers has been formed to nab the criminals. He said that there were more than 20 robbery incidents in September 2022 and this month the number has been reduced in crime and we are getting closer to the criminals involved in the Bakrani road incident. He said that due to personal quarrels, rape, murder and other crimes, wrong FIRs are registered and the names of innocent people are given for which instructions have been issued to the police so that no innocent person’s name is entered in the FIR.
Meanwhile, two robbery incidents occurred in a single day in Market police station limits on Saturday in which armed men fled after snatching over Rs.5.5million from two different people. Private mobile phone employee Arbab Magsi was deprived of over Rs2.5 million from Pakistan Chowk area by two armed bikers and in another incident which also took place in the jurisdiction of same police station in Old Anaj Mandi area three armed bikers snatched Rs3 million from Munawar Ali Khokhar, a trader of Dokri and escaped without fear of law.
Both the affected persons have urged higher police officers and other relevant Sindh government authorities to help recover the looted money. The residents have demanded to get rid of black sheep from the police without losing a minute who have stayed here for a very long time to maintain peace, tranquility and eliminate lawlessness in the district.
