Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Capt. (retd) Qazi Ali Raza today issued a stern warning that any mistreatment of the elderly, women, or children by police personnel will not be tolerated, emphasizing a policy of zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior towards complainants.
The declaration was made during an official visit to the Khanna police station, where the SSP conducted a comprehensive inspection of the facility and its operations. During the assessment, Capt. Raza examined the station”s records, front desk services, and the lockup. He also reviewed the data of detainees currently in custody.
Engaging directly with the public, the SSP Operations met with citizens at the station to listen to their concerns. He subsequently directed the relevant officers to ensure the prompt resolution of all public issues.
The senior officer instructed all personnel to treat individuals visiting the police stations with courtesy and respect, reinforcing the standard for professional conduct. Additionally, Capt. Raza gave further instructions to senior officers, underscoring the importance of prioritizing the welfare of police personnel and swiftly addressing any issues they may face.
