Representatives of FPCCI, APTMA and UNISAME as members.

Zulfikar Thaver president of UNISAME will represent the Union and is appointed as member of the Focus Group on Green Banking. Thaver said it has been our long outstanding demand to subsidize solar, wind and biogas plants and we are very happy and appreciate the efforts of SBP in giving priority to the matter.

The energy crisis is an impediment and having the resources of abundant sunlight and wind corridors and also substance for biogas it would be unwise to suffer. In fact looking at the requirements of energy for the country it would be wise to produce nuclear electricity to overcome the crisis and permission to produce must be obtained from concerned quarters.
