Steps afoot to provide basic facilities to edu entities

KOHLU:Mir Naseebullah Marri, Minister for Colleges, Higher, Technical and Secondary Education, has said that concrete steps were being taken to provide basic facilities and amenities to the educational institutions of the province.

These views were expressed by him while talking to media after inaugurating new building at Government Boys Model High School, Kohlu here on Saturday.

Fifty percent quota reserved in Education Department for promotion of eligible teachers would completely be implemented, vacant positions of Education Department would be filled purely on merit, said Marri, adding that it was being strived to address all the problems of schools as well as of teachers on priority basis.

He said that Education Department was utilizing all available resources to promote technical education in the province. Urging the teachers to ensure their attendance in their respective places of posting, he said that no negligence would be tolerated in performance of government duties. He announced providing equipments to the science laboratory of Government Boys Model High School, Kohlu and construction of IT lab in the school.

On the occasion, District Education Officer, Kohlu, Jaffar Khan Zarkoon, District Officer Education, Hafeezullah Marri, DDEO (Male), Shams Marri, Principal, Government Boys Model High School, Kohlu, Abdul Ghani, Vice Principal, Zia-ul-Haq Zarkoon, SDO (Building), Engineer Khuwaj Marri, SDO, Public Health Engineering Department, Inayatullah Marri, Mir Dost Ali, Mir Farooq Marri, Haji Abdul Rehman Marri, Mir Jahanzaib Marri and others were also present.
