Steps are being taken to remove hindrances for trade between Pakistan, Afghanistan: Shehzad

Islamabad, January 07, 2021 (PPI-OT): A parliamentary delegation led by Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Establishment Muhammad Shehzad Arbab visited Chaman today (Thursday). The delegation comprised of Special Representative to Prime Minister for Afghan Affairs Muhammad Saddique, members of National Assembly and other high ranking officials.

Talking on the occasion, Shehzad Arbab said that all necessary steps are being taken to remove hindrances for smooth trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He added the new visa policy of Pakistan for Afghan citizens, students and traders will improve the long term relations between the two countries.

The delegation was briefed by the concerned authorities about the various steps taken for enhancement of trade activities at Chaman border. The Parliamentary delegation also visited the border crossing point, Chaman Qilla and Chamber of Commerce in Chaman.
