Stern action will be initiated against teachers and doctors who are late or absent 

Karachi, February 13, 2020 (PPI-OT):Provincial Minister for Education, Labour and Human Resources Saeed Ghani today visited SMB Fatima Jinnah School and College Garden, Karachi. The provincial minister reviewed the teaching process in the school and appreciated the presence of a large number of teachers and students in the school. The school Principal told the provincial minister that the school has enrolment of more than 2,000 students and the attendance ratio is 95%. Saeed Ghani expressed his satisfaction over the commencement of regular classes before 8.30am and the attendance of teachers.

 

Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani also visited Girls College located in the same vicinity. The Provincial Minister for Education also commended the Principal and teachers on the presence of all the teachers including the college principal. The college has 1,300 students studying in the Faculty of Science and Arts. Minister for Education expressed satisfaction over attending more than 90 percent of the students in the classes. The provincial minister was informed that the assembly is being held on regular basis from 8.00 a.m. to 08:15 a.m. in the school and college and classes commence before 8.30a.m.

 

Later on Minister for Education and Labor Sindh Saeed Ghani visited the Kalsum Bai Valika Hospital at 9.00 am. The Provincial Minister visited the OPDs of various diseases in the hospital and checked the presence of doctors and para-medical staff. The provincial minister expressed his displeasure over the delayed arrival of doctors in various sectors of the hospital.

 

The provincial minister also checked the attendance register of staff in all the departments of the hospital and instructed to issue warning to the staff members who were not present in time. The provincial minister also expressed his dissatisfaction over the late arrival of the Medical Superintendent of the hospital. Saeed Ghani also reviewed the medicines provided to the patients in the hospital and also directed to pay special attention to cleanliness in the drugstore.
