Supreme Court to Remain Open Tomorrow

The Supreme Court of Pakistan will remain open (tomorrow), Wednesday, August 13, 2025, despite a local holiday declared for Islamabad Capital Territory. The court will operate as usual, conducting judicial business and administrative tasks without disruption.

The Office of the District Magistrate had announced a holiday for the capital territory, excluding essential services. However, the nation’s highest judicial body clarified its operational status in an announcement today (Tuesday).

The court emphasized that it, as a constitutional entity, will continue its work uninterrupted. Attorneys, litigants, and concerned individuals are instructed to attend scheduled court sessions and appointments as planned.
