Suspected armed man killed by his own accomplice’s bullet in an encounter with Okara police

Okara police officials have confirmed that an armed suspect was killed by firing from his own accomplices during an encounter with law enforcement agencies near Ratta Khanna Chowk on Sunday.

The incident began when CCD police personnel signaled a suspicious loader rickshaw to stop. Three armed men in the vehicle opened indiscriminate fire on the personnel.

Law enforcement agencies also fired in the exchange of retaliatory fire. When the firing from the attackers stopped, the police started searching the nearby area.

During the search, personnel found the body of an armed man, later identified as Danish, a resident of Mandi Usman Wala. Preliminary investigation revealed that he was killed by the bullets of his own accomplices during the exchange of fire.

His two accomplices managed to escape from the scene. Authorities recovered the loader rickshaw and illegal weapons from the scene and moved the deceased’s body to the hospital.

After the encounter, District Police Officer Dr. Asad Ejaz Malhi has formed a special team to arrest the fugitive suspects.

A large-scale search is underway to arrest the two escaped individuals, and police are conducting raids at various locations.
