A suspected robber was taken into custody in an injured state after an armed encounter with law enforcement personnel in the North Karachi area on Saturday.
The incident occurred in Sector 1A/2, where an exchange of fire took place between the police and the alleged suspects, resulting in the arrest of one individual.
Authorities identified the arrested suspect as Muhammad Junaid, son of Zehan Ahmed. A pistol with ammunition, two mobile phones, and a motorcycle were recovered from his possession at the scene.
The injured person has been moved to a hospital for treatment. Officials at the KH Ajmer Nagri police station have confirmed that further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
