Taj claims economy progressing despite Covid

QUETTA: Muhammad Idrees Taj, Provincial Additional General Secretary, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Balochistan, has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has assumed power for the sole purpose of serving the masses and that journey would continue without being blackmailed by anyone.

These views were expressed by him while talking to different delegations who called on him at the provincial secretariat of PTI here on Sunday. Taj said that differences of opinions were in reality the beauty of democracy and PTI, adding that the support of youth enabled PTI to assume the responsibilities of running the affairs of country.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan was introducing new schemes for the welfare and progress of youth. Despite confronting COVID-19 pandemic, economy of the country was on the path of progress, said Taj, adding that all institutions of the government were on one page for the integrity and progress of the country.

He said the speech of Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the floor of General Assembly of United Nations (UN) was the true interpretation of the passions of whole nation and Muslim Ummah. He remarked that the incumbent federal government had saved the country from being economically bankrupt, adding that Prime Minister, Imran Khan was the real leader of masses. Condemning terrorist attack in North Waziristan from across the border, he said that the whole nation was standing with Pak-Army and other security agencies of the country.
