The teaching profession is a great prophetic profession, said Commissioner Sukkur Division, Abid Saleem Qureshi, on World Teachers’ Day. He praised their services, recognizing teachers as bright minarets of knowledge and the architects of the society’s future.
In his message, Qureshi emphasized that teachers play an essential role in shaping the lives of individuals, and that professionals from various fields such as medicine, engineering, and science owe their achievements to the foundational guidance of teachers. He also stressed that teachers play a significant role after parents in shaping children’s character and teaching basic life skills.
Reflecting on the central theme for the year 2025, Qureshi stressed the importance of transforming teaching into a collaborative effort.
