Team of Pakistani doctors continues free cataract surgeries in capital N’Djamena

ISLAMABAD:A team of Pakistani doctors who was sent to the African country Chad by COMSTECH is continuing free cataract surgeries in capital N'Djamena.

As many as 220 free cataract operations were performed on the third day of free eye camp. In the next three days, the medical team will conduct 180 free operations, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report.

In addition, the COMSTECH in collaboration with Islamic Development Bank has planned to provide a two year specialized post graduate training to sixteen African ophthalmologists.
