KARACHI:Favorite Hasheesh Kumar opened his account with a one-sided victory in the Juniors U-18 singles event in 9th Essa Lab National Seniors and Juniors Tennis Championships here Saturday at Modern Club.
Hasheesh Kumar defeated Ayaan Yousuf easily by 6-1, 6-1 score in the second round.
Meanwhile, Zaman siblings Natalia Zaman, Samer Zaman and Zayd Zaman emerged victorious in their first round matches in girls under 18 singles, boys under 14 singles and boys under 10 singles respectively.
Natalia cruised into the event’s final after beating Wania Bhagat by 6-1, 6-1 score.
