In Thatta, district administrators and land record officers have been given a strict one-week ultimatum to finalize delimitation efforts, with the Deputy Commissioner explicitly warning of strict action against any official found involved in negligence or delay in important work.
This directive was issued today during an important meeting presided over by Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Ali Bhagat at Darbar Hall Makli. The gathering was attended by Assistant Commissioners, Mukhtiarkars, Assistant Mukhtiarkars, Supervising Tapedars, and Tapedars from across the district. During the proceedings, the district head was given a comprehensive briefing on the progress of land record updates throughout the area.
Mr. Bhagat unequivocally directed all land administration officials to complete the current documentation project within the stipulated seven-day period. This rapid time limit aims to ensure maximum convenience and prompt relief for the local population. He emphasized that any dereliction of duty or delay in these efforts would not be tolerated at all, and pledged that strict disciplinary measures would be taken against officials who fail to meet the required standards.
The senior administrative official once again emphasized that the timely provision of improved public services is a paramount objective of the district administration. He assured that every available resource is being utilized to promote greater transparency and efficiency in all revenue-related matters.
Furthermore, Mr. Bhagat directed the concerned officials to maintain a rapid pace of work while upholding high standards of quality, so that the project can be completed within the stipulated time.
