Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, has said that Pakistan’s success in the “Battle of Haq” has dramatically altered the strategic landscape of South Asia. In a statement today, Khan emphasized that Pakistan’s effective military strategy and diplomatic resilience have strengthened it as a formidable power in the region.
Praising the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, Khan acknowledged the bravery of the soldiers who defended the nation. He highlighted the wise decisions made by political and military leaders during this conflict, which were crucial in securing Pakistan’s defense capabilities and international recognition as a reliable ally.
During the confrontation, Pakistan showcased its comprehensive military strategy, integrating ground, naval, and air forces with advanced cyber capabilities and modern warfare technologies. Khan mentioned the outstanding performance of Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder aircraft and China’s J-10C fighter jets, which effectively challenged the previous perception of Indian military superiority and rendered India’s Cold Start Doctrine ineffective.
On the diplomatic front, Khan revealed that India faced significant setbacks and global isolation post-May 2025. Despite provocations, Pakistan maintained a stance of restraint and responsibility, gaining international acclaim for its peace-oriented approach and fact-based narrative. This was in contrast to India’s alleged propaganda and misinformation campaigns.
Khan further observed that a shift is occurring in the global political environment, with American dominance waning post-9/11, paving the way for new security alliances. In this environment, Pakistan has emerged as a key stabilizing force in the region, strengthening relations with the USA, China, and various Middle Eastern and European countries.
Despite the current de-escalation, Khan advised vigilance against potential destabilization efforts by India, particularly through Afghanistan. He stressed the importance of bolstering Pakistan’s economy, technology, missile defense, and diplomatic relations to maintain the achievements of the Battle of Truth.
