Those Working for Social Justice Are Viewed with Appreciation: Sindh Human Rights Department

The Sindh Human Rights Department presented a commendation certificate to Abbas Haider, Co-Director of the Pakistan Institute of Labor Education and Research (PILER), in recognition of his extraordinary services in the field of labor rights, social justice, and human rights.

This award, given under the Sindh Human Rights Defender Commission Program, recognizes Haider’s two decades of work dedicated to improving workers’ wages, workplace safety, and inclusive development for marginalized communities.

Agha Fakhar Hussain, Director of the Sindh Human Rights Department, praised Haider’s efforts in ensuring justice for workers and strengthening the role of civil society in rights-based governance.
