Jamshoro:Citizens captured three burglars who stole valuables from a house in Jamshoro and jumped into a canal to save themselves near Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Three thieves barged into the house of Mir Hassan and collected valuables including gold worth lakhs of rupees in Syedabad area of Jamshoro town but in the meantime, inmates who were out of the town reached the house, saw them and started hue and cry.
The burglars started fleeing when neighbors rushed to the scene and chased them, but the burglars jumped into a canal near Hyderabad in a bid to save themselves. However, citizens with the help of boats chased and captured them at some distance. They beat up them, recovered stolen valuables from their possession and later handed over them to police. The police have locked them up and started a further probe into the incident.
