TALHAR: Three children drowned in Phuleli Canal near Talhar town on Saturday.
Rescue persons pulled out two children as dead while one was recovered in unconscious condition. Those died were identified as Sameer, 10, and Ajily, 7. The condition of third child Noman was stated to be serious.
The children were the residents of village Haji Lashari located near Talhar. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the village. The cause behind drowning could not be ascertained.
