UMERKOT:Three more coronavirus cases were confirmed as positive in Umerkot district on Thursday.
The newly infected people include Ahsan Soomro and Roshan Faqir of village New Chorr and Kelash Lohana of Umerkot city. The samples of Lohana’s family have also been taken for the virus test the result of which would be announced within two days.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the district has now risen to nine. The three victims of coronavirus have been quarantined. The virus cases are increasing rapidly in Umerkot district. DHO Health Department Umerkot Dr Allahdad Rathore has appealed to the people to strictly adhere to the precautionary measures prescribed by the Sindh health department and the provincial government against the coronavirus.
