ABBOTTABAD: In a fatal road accident in Abbottabad on Thursday, three school children were killed and 17 injured.
The accident occurred in Sherwan area when a school van carrying 20 children fell down into a deep ravine resulting at the spot death of three girls. The injured were initially shifted to the DHQ Hospital, however later on four seriously injured were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex.
According to police sources, students of the Knowledge Inn Public School, Pind Kargo Khan were going back to home from their school and near the Gali Jarl Road, the van fell into a deep ravine in which three female students were died and 17 were injured.
Four injured students were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex in critical condition and 13 to DHQ hospital. Additional SP Arif Javed supervised the rescue operation with police and local residents.
