Karachi police have conducted anti-crime operations, arresting 32 suspects over the past week. During 16 police encounters, 3 robbers were killed and 22 were injured. Illegal weapons and stolen vehicles were recovered from the arrested suspects.
According to the police spokesman, over 948 suspects have been arrested in Karachi’s East, West, and South zones collectively. From the arrested individuals, 24 different types of illegal weapons, a rickshaw, a car, and 10 motorcycles were recovered.
During the ongoing anti-narcotics campaign, the police seized 76 kilograms and 696 grams of hashish, 7 kilograms and 973 grams of ice/crystal, and heroin from different areas.
Karachi police also recovered over 108 different types of illegal weapons and ammunition used in robberies and other crimes.
Additionally, the police recovered 43 stolen motorcycles and 9 large vehicles from various areas. According to Karachi police, these efforts will continue to eliminate crime and restore law and order.
