The affected areas include Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan. This weather system could potentially cause heavy rain, leading to possible disruptions.
In contrast, the southern parts of the country are expected to continue experiencing hot and humid conditions, with no relief from the heat.
Morning temperatures in major cities provide a brief overview of the current weather scenario. In Islamabad, it was 25 degrees Celsius, while in Lahore, the temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius. In Karachi, it was 29 degrees Celsius, and both Peshawar and Quetta recorded a low temperature of 24 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the hilly location of Murree felt a brisk 18 degrees Celsius, while in Gilgit and Muzaffarabad, 23 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius were recorded, respectively.
