The Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) has announced that “Youm-e-Shareekat-ul-Hussain” will be observed with great devotion on Monday, 16th Dhu al-Hijjah. This day is dedicated to commemorating the martyrdom of Bibi Zainab bint Ali (peace be upon her), an important figure in Islamic history who demonstrated unparalleled courage during the events of Karbala.
Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, who is the head of TNFJ, announced that mourning assemblies will be held across the country in Imam Bargahs and Azakhanas. The purpose of these assemblies is to pay tribute to the role of Bibi Zainab after Karbala, where she exposed tyranny and supported justice.
Bawa Syed Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi, who is the central convener of the Youm-e-Shareekat-ul-Hussain Committee, highlighted the significant role of Bibi Zainab in the struggle against oppression. He stated that her actions and sermons disgraced the Yazidi world forever and strengthened the legacy of her brother, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
Kazmi emphasized the unity of purpose among the men and women involved in the Karbala narrative. He said that Bibi Zainab, through her eloquence and steadfastness, became a symbol of justice and excellence, inspiring generations with her strength and commitment to righteousness.
He further stated that the Islamic world should embrace the virtues of Hussain (peace be upon him) and Zainab (peace be upon her) to sustain the prophetic message. Bibi Zainab, often referred to as the “second Zahra,” emerges as a beacon of light for women worldwide due to her purity and dignity.
TNFJ has appealed to the government to ensure robust security and comprehensive media coverage during these events. Raza Kazmi will serve as the secretary of this committee, overseeing the arrangements for this important occasion.
