Top Cop Orders Intensified Checks and Full Preparedness Across Federal Capital

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Islamabad today declared the city’s law enforcement is fully prepared to confront any situation in accordance with the law, vowing that no disruption of peace will be tolerated in the federal capital.

The statement came as IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi issued directives for heightened vigilance following a comprehensive review of security measures.

During an extensive tour of various duty points, IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi personally met with officers and other personnel. In the presence of senior police officials, he offered encouragement to the deployed staff to boost their morale.

The police chief instructed his officers to ensure rigorous checking procedures and effective monitoring at all security points. He underscored the importance of maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Emphasising the force”s commitment to public safety, the IGP affirmed that all available resources would be utilised to protect the lives and property of citizens, as well as public and private assets.

Senior police officers were explicitly directed to brief their respective teams on handling emergent situations and to conduct personal inspections of all duty assignments.

The IGP further mandated that all personnel deployed must be provided with complete operational equipment to perform their duties effectively.

To guarantee compliance, senior officers were ordered to tour different areas of the city and ensure the thorough implementation of these new security directives.
