Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police today announced that comprehensive security arrangements will be implemented across the federal capital to ensure the safety of citizens during the upcoming Christmas celebrations.
The declaration was made by IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi while attending a special Christmas ceremony at the Police Lines Headquarters, where he served as the chief guest.
The event, organized for police officers and staff from the Christian community, was also attended by senior officials including DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, AIG Logistics Abdul Haque Umrani, and SP Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen.
During the ceremony, IGP Rizvi congratulated the Christian members of the police force and distributed gifts among them. He stated that the occasion conveys a message of love, affection, brotherhood, and service to humanity.
He remarked that Christian officers and staff are a source of pride, acknowledging their outstanding performance in serving the country and the nation in every field.
The police chief further emphasized that in Pakistan, citizens belonging to every nation, race, and religion enjoy equal rights.
At the conclusion of the event, the Inspector General extended his best wishes to Christian police officers and staff.
