A major convention in Multan brought together government officials and a leading fertilizer company to recognize and reward the country’s top-performing wheat growers. The Sarsabz Kissan Convention, an initiative by Fatima Fertilizer in partnership with the Punjab Agriculture Department, gathered over 1,300 farmers to discuss innovative practices aimed at improving crop yields and strengthening national food security.

According to a report by Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited today, the primary purpose of the farmers” seminar was to honor agriculturists who secured the highest positions in the government”s provincial and district-level wheat high-yield competitions. The recognition was extended to growers who had utilized Sarsabz Nitrophos and CAN fertilizers, with a stated aim to encourage wider adoption of these methods for increased profitability.

During the event, technical representatives from Fatima Fertilizer presented information on the balanced use of fertilizers. They highlighted that the application of Sarsabz Nitrophos and CAN had been associated with improved soil fertility and an increase in per-acre crop yields of 10% or more.

“Through initiatives like the Sarsabz Kissan Convention, we are reinforcing our commitment to supporting Pakistan’s farmers by providing them access to high-quality products… along with on-ground advisory services,” stated Rabel Sadozai, Director of Marketing and Sales at Fatima Fertilizer. She added that the ultimate goal is to help cultivators achieve higher yields and contribute to a “more sustainable and self-sufficient agricultural ecosystem.”

To celebrate their exceptional contributions, Fatima Fertilizer announced significant awards for the high-achieving producers.
