The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, today directed law enforcement personnel to intensify security screenings across the federal capital, conducting a series of on-site inspections of various duty points.
This initiative is part of a broader push by the Islamabad Police, following special directives from Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to implement effective measures for foolproof security throughout the city.
During his tour, SSP Raza met with deployed officers and personnel, reviewing existing checkpoint procedures and ordering them to be made more effective and purposeful to ensure the protection of public life and property.
He instructed officers to maintain a high state of alertness, conduct thorough checks on suspicious individuals and vehicles, and immediately report any unusual activities to senior command.
The SSP also emphasized the need for all personnel to engage with the public in a polite and respectful manner, aiming to strengthen the bond of trust between citizens and the police force.
An official statement reiterated that safeguarding citizens” lives and property remains the paramount objective for the Islamabad Police, with all security protocols being enacted to achieve this goal.
Authorities have called upon residents to fully cooperate with law enforcement and to promptly report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the dedicated “Pucar-15” helpline.
