The tortured body of a 25-year-old woman was found in the New Golimar area on Tuesday, after which police have launched an immediate investigation into the incident.
Officials of the Rizvia Police Station have identified the deceased as Kinza, wife of Rashid.
Her body was recovered from Street No. 01 of the area.
The body has been shifted to the Chhipa Centre for a post-mortem.
Law enforcement officials have stated that the final cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report is completed.
Police confirmed that further investigation into the circumstances of her death is underway.
