Traditional sports festival begins in Ghotki’s Katcha area after restoration of peace, thousands of enthusiastic spectators participate

A traditional sports festival has begun in the Katcha area of Ghotki after the restoration of peace. The series of traditional sports competitions has played a significant role in restoring normal life in the Katcha.

On the directive of Chief Secretary Sindh, Syed Asif Hyder Shah, the Ghotki district administration organized spectacular sports competitions in this festival, which started on Monday, in which thousands of enthusiastic spectators participated. This revival of public activities is a major step for the region.

Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ghotki, Manzoor Ahmed Kunrani, Assistant Commissioner Ghotki Naveed Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Ubauro, Sahib Elahi, organized competitions of popular local sports like Kabaddi, Malakhra, and Volleyball in the Katcha areas of Ghotki and Ubauro.

The atmosphere in the Katcha area was extremely enthusiastic, where players demonstrated extraordinary skills which were highly appreciated by the large crowd present. At the end of the competitions, prizes were distributed among the best-performing participants.

Local residents praised these efforts by the administration, saying that these events have not only revived recreational activities but have also spread a positive message of peace throughout the area.

Deputy Commissioner Kunrani said that such competitions are extremely important for attracting the youth of the Katcha areas towards healthy activities and promoting social harmony. He reiterated that the district administration is committed to the complete restoration of law and order to improve the lives of the residents and ensure the continuity of constructive public events.
