A tribal elder was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Munguchar area of district Kalat on Wednesday.
According to a report, the assailants managed to escape after committing the crime. The unidentified assailants targeted tribal elder Takari Abdul Nabi Bangulzai near Mehmood Guhram area of Tehsil Munghuchar in district Kalat.
His body was shifted to a Kalat hospital and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victim’s home.
The otive behind the incident could not be ascertained till filing this report. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities.
