Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Nazaryati’s provincial convener Maulana Qari Mehrullah has appealed to the Ulema and tribal leaders to play their active role in ending the enmity and hatred between different groups. He warned that such negative thinking is harmful and can lead to destruction. He emphasized the dire need for these influential figures to create an atmosphere of peace, unity, and brotherhood. He said that the strength and power of the Muslim community depend on these important elements. Mutual respect and compassion are the basic principles of Islamic teachings, and it is essential to address the root causes of division, discord, and resentment within the community.
Mehrullah emphasized that the fundamental message of Islam has always been tolerance, love, and tranquility. He added that these virtues bring peace and harmony to human life, and these are the principles that Islam consistently teaches. He highlighted the divine blessings through the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) provision of complete guidance to his followers for problem-solving. He stated that the community’s success and progress lie in following the exemplary character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), which prevents conflicts and corruption. He further said that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are the key to global success and prosperity for all nations.
Furthermore, Mehrullah explained that Islam, as a religion of peace, not only outlines the rights of all living beings, from animals to humans, but also instructs its followers to ensure their well-being and protection. He emphasized the importance of resolving differences and disputes to promote harmony within the community and cooperation among individuals. Mehrullah stated that Islam considers all creatures as part of God’s family and advocates for kindness and respect towards every individual, regardless of their background or lineage.
