US President Donald Trump has indicated he might travel to the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, if an agreement between the United States and Iran be successfully negotiated and signed within the city.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, the American leader clarified that the current ceasefire arrangement with Iran, which is due to expire on Wednesday, would not require an extension. He expressed confidence that a comprehensive deal could be finalised before the deadline, according to a statement today.
Mr Trump additionally lauded the contributions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir regarding these ongoing efforts.
