TWI hails Pakistan’s recent steps on Kashmir

Srinagar, August 09, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami has appreciated the recent steps taken by the Government of Pakistan on Kashmir saying that these would draw more attention of the international community towards the Kashmir dispute.

The spokesman of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the launch of a new political map by Pakistan and the move to rename the Kashmir Highway as Srinagar Highway is certainly encouraging for the Kashmiris.

The spokesman said that the recent meeting of the UN Security Council on Kashmir made it clear that Pakistan was continuing its efforts to highlight the issue at the diplomatic level. He said that the communal Indian government of Narendra Modi wanted to force the Kashmiris at gunpoint into accepting its illegal and unilateral decisions of August 5, 2019, but it would never succeed in its nefarious designs.
