SHIKARPUR:Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on National Highway within the jurisdiction of Jahan Khan police station near Shikarpur on Monday.
According to a police, a Mazda truck and a motorcycle collided on National Highway near Jahan Khan locality near Shikarpur due to fog. As a result, motorcyclist Talib Hussain Khoso, 40, son of Rahmatullah Khoso, died on the spot while his relative Siddique Ahmed, 23, son of Azizullah Khoso, received serious injured.
The body and injured were brought to a Lakhi hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively, where the injured was referred to a Sukkur hospital due to his precarious condition where succumbed to his injuries. Area police have impounded the truck and started further probe into the incident. No FIR was registered till late evening.
Meanwhile, a milk seller, Ghulam Mustafa alias Mithal Shaikh, aged 25, was killed when he tried to cross the railway cross near Peer Daim Shah within the jurisdiction of Jhabbar Shaikh police station on Monday. The body was shifted to Madeji hospital for medico legal formalities and later handed over to his heirs after completing necessary formalities.
