LARKANA: Members of District Bar Association (DBA) and Young people of Larkana held separate protest demonstrations here on Wednesday, demanding arrest of all accused involved in the murder of a young man, Bilal Kaka, and injuring of his friends by people of Afghan Pathan community in Hyderabad few days ago.
They demanded expelling Afghans and Pathans from Sindh. The leaders Aqib Kathiyo, Umair Bhutto, Tariq Khuhawar, Waheed Magsi and others said that two days ago Pathans mercilessly killed Bilal Kaka at their private hotel when they reached to have dinner and injured his friends including Sarfraz Sanjrani, Imran Malik, Zeeshal Jamali, Waqar Patoli and others.
They said Pathans attacked Bilal with iron rods and glass bottles due to which he died and others were injured. They said Afghans and Pathans had been settled in Sindh by the rulers who were killing the ideginous people almost daily which was a matter of great concern, but Sindh government and Sindh police had done nothing as yet to expel them out of the province. They demanded immediate arrest of all the accused involved in the attack.
Lawyers of Larkana also strongly condemned the cruel act of murdering a young man by Afghans and Pathans in Hyderabad. They said ATC sections had not been applied in the FIR which showed the partisan attitude of Sindh police. Separately, the members of DBA held a protest demonstration in this connection at District Courts, demanding inclusion of ATC section in the FIR and arrest of all the accused.
Lawyers Abdul Sattar Hulio, Amanullah Luhar, Amir Sanjrani, Qadeer Domki and others said that Afghani Pathans were killing people in Sindh and the Sindh government was mum. They said Irshad Ranjhani was gunned down sometime back in Karachi by Afghani Pathans and many such cases had taken place but Sindh police was acting merely like a spectator as if they were protecting Pathans. They demanded of the IGP and DIGP Hyderabad to include ATC sections in the FIR and arrest of all accused involved in the barbaric murder.
