KARACHI: Two persons were killed in road accidents in different areas of Karachi on Friday.
According to rescue sources, Shakeel Ahmed, aged 48, son of Umar Elahi, was hit by a fast-moving vehicle in Baloch Colony area of the city. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and died. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs.
A 12-year-old boy was hit by an unknown vehicle in Machar Colony near Suhrab Goth area of the city. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the house.
