Two perished in Quetta Road accident

QUETTA:Two persons were killed after the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a tractor on Almo Chowk area of the provincial capital on Tuesday.

According to rescue sources, a motorcyclist and his pillion were killed after the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a tractor near Almo Chowk, Airport Road area of Quetta. The bodies, identified as Habibullah Langove, 36, son of Muhammad Rahim, Langove, resident of Killi Kotwal, Quetta and Eid Muhammad Langove, 20, son of Muhammad Naeem Langove, resident of Kotwal, Quetta, were shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta for completion of codal formalities.

The bodies were handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victim’s houses. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of concerned police station. The prize, which aims to increase the international exposure of artists in Asia-Pacific, will also raise funds to bring the therapeutic benefits of art to disadvantaged children in Hong Kong through artwork sales.
