Two players from Khairpur selected for national junior hockey trials

Young hockey expert from Khairpur, Syed Maysam Abbas, has been selected for the national junior hockey trials, marking a significant milestone in his emerging sports career.

The selection committee of the Pakistan Hockey Federation invited Abbas following his outstanding performance in the Pakistan Inter-Division Sindh Zone Tournament, where he was awarded the “Man of the Tournament” honor. His selection is part of a broader initiative to scout emerging players from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

At just 17 years of age, Abbas has already made a name for himself, having also represented Sindh in the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Games 2024.
